Legion of Mary

 

DESCRIPTION: The Legion of Mary is an international apostolic organization of lay people in the Catholic Church which serves to give glory to God through the sanctification of its members. The Legion was founded in Dublin, Ireland by Frank Duff on September 7, 1921.

The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation in Mary's and the Church's work.

WHEN: Every Tuesday at 6:00 PM

WHERE:  St. Ambrose Church

WHO: persons who are willing to become members and make the time commitment.

COMMITMENT: a moderate commitment of time in service and prayer.
Service involves visiting inactive parishioners, nursing home visitation, evangelizing, promotion of Eucharistic Adoration and Marian devotion.
